A unique and heart-warming gift, specially selected artwork by Canadian artist Saleha Patel called Nikkah. The art focuses on Quran 30-21 SURAH AR RUM -Ayat on love and mercy between spouses.
The verse written in traditional Arabic on the runner that overrides the modern calligraphy implies the strength of a Nikkah in the modern age. The beauty of a Nikkah is mentioned many times in the Quran as the relationship of faith, trust, love, forgiveness, kindness and respect. The shaded patterns in the background symbolise two souls, both of whom are entering into a sacred bond. Prophet Muhammad pbuh has said, “when a man enters into a Nikkah, he has fulfilled half of his religion”.
